Had this happen to me recently on and off. When I rev it would kick the alternator back on. Then it'd work for awhile. Got a used one from a junk yard for 30 dollars.

Do they both have the same exhausts and intakes? Otherwise you can't really do a downpipe comparison, since you're hearing everything. Either way, I'd be more concerned with dyno differences than sound 😊

Once you see a Battery Indicator pop on the Alternator is dead and you now are running on the battery juice and once the juice runs out the car powers off and you have to pull over somewhere so traffic doesn’t stall and now you can’t move it anywhere no more and you have to call a Tow Truck to get a New Alternator

This morning we were in a mini highway and the Alternator failed so The battery juice was all that remained and after 10 minutes we pulled up in a Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot just in time before the car died and then after over an hour of waiting a tow truck came and towed the car away and then a friend brought us a ride home so yeah today was scary as heck
